Appointment Provisions

Each national section of the Board includes a Chairman and five members (selected from the military and public service). Each country provides an official to act as Secretary to its section.

The Canadian section consists of a Chairman appointed by GiC, on the recommendation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs; and three representatives from the Armed Forces and two civilian representatives from the diplomatic and trade sections at Foreign Affairs (not appointed by GiC).
